Hillary Olmo, RN, MSN, CPEN, CCHC, is the founder of MountainMinds and a dedicated nurse with over 10 years of experience, primarily in emergency and pediatric care. Throughout her career, she has seen firsthand how crucial it is to be prepared for medical emergencies, particularly when caring for children. Since 2020, Hillary has been based in Colorado Springs, supporting local childcare programs and professionals through hands-on training and tailored health consulting.

She is passionate about making CPR, First Aid, and health and safety training approachable, practical, and empowering. Hillary doesn’t just teach to check a box—she focuses on equipping caregivers with the confidence and real-world skills needed to respond quickly and effectively when it matters most. Whether participants are new to these skills or seeking a refresher, she provides guidance and support every step of the way.

Karissa Gonzalez, BSN, RN, CCHC is a dedicated pediatric nurse and Nurse Consultant with extensive experience supporting children across healthcare, education, and public health.

Since beginning her career in 2019, she has remained committed to promoting child safety and well-being through clinical care, emergency pediatrics, hospice support, and public health nursing.

As a Nurse Consultant, Karissa combines clinical expertise with a public health approach to help create safer, healthier environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
